TMR - Feedings
A Feeding divides a daily ration amount for a feed group into multiple feedings per day. Feedings operate differently depending on the feeding mode (daily or standard), set in the Settings tab. An Entire Ration (100%) feeding is automatically created when adding a new feed group.
Daily Mode (default)
In Daily mode, earlier feedings from the day from the same feed group are subtracted from new batches, so the feeding percentage is the fraction of the daily ration amount that will be reached after performing the feeding. A sample daily mode feeding schedule feeding twice a day, where half is fed in the morning and half in the evening would be: Morning 50%, Evening 100%.
Standard Mode
Batches are treated independently, so the feeding percentage is the fraction of the daily amount that will be fed during each feeding. The same feeding schedule of half in the morning and half in the evening would be: Morning 50%, Evening 50%.
Adding a Feeding
- Select the Pens tab and then tap Feed Groups.
- Tap + to add a new feed group or edit an existing feed group.
- Enter the feed group name and tap Next.
- Select a ration for the feed group.
- Tap Add Pen to add pens to a feed group.
- Tap Add Feeding to create a new feeding.
- Tap Done to save.
