Plant - General Operation: Planter Mode

Configuring
In the top right corner of the upper display is an area that indicates what Display mode the system is in if connected as a Primary display, it will show "Manual." If the device is in Remote display mode, this area displays "Remote."

Loading the Equipment - Ensure the correct Location and Equipment are selected. Load the equipment with product. Tap the Load button, and select which container to load if using multiple, then begin to load the container. The weight reading of the upper display will rise indicating the amount being loaded, and the weight readings of the lower display will continue to show the gross weight on the equipment and the current container weights.

While loading, weight will be transferred from the current source into the container being filled on the selected equipment. Once loading is complete, the Libra Plant app will automatically save the following information: date, time, and dry weight. The transaction will be recorded as an Outgoing transaction in the Location and an Incoming transaction in the Equipment. Each load is also associated with the selected source, equipment operator, and commodity.

Repeat this process for all containers. When using automatic detection, the Load and Save keys do not need to be used.

Unloading the Equipment - Ensure the correct Equipment and Field are selected. Unload the equipment on to the field. The system will automatically detect equipment unloading and enter application mode (during which the "Manual" text is replaced with flashing "Applying" text). The weight reading of the upper display will rise indicating the amount that has been applied to the field, and the weight readings of the lower display will continue to show the gross weight of the equipment and the current container weights.

While unloading, the weight will be transferred from the equipment onto the selected Field. Once unloading is complete, the transaction will need to be saved. Unload transactions will automatically be saved by triggering the load function again. They can also be saved by tapping the Save button, selecting a new field or equipment, or hitting Empty Equipment.

Once the unload has been saved, the Libra Plant app will save the following information: date, time, and dry weight. The transaction will be recorded as an Outgoing transaction in the Equipment and an Incoming transaction in the Field. Each transaction is also associated with the selected source, equipment operator, and commodity.
